26 World Market Inspired Living Room Ideas
I recently came across a picture from last summer of my world market inspired living room.
I had forgotten how much I loved this look! I have always loved the look of natural woods, grays, and whites together and
I think it looks great with my orange couches.
I love the look of the white couches and I would love to have them but I don’t think white couches would last very long in my house!
I have two boys and a dog so my couches need to be low maintenance and easy to clean.
I love the look of this room and I think it would look great with my couches if I switched out the white couches for some gray ones.
1. A Calm
This room is the perfect balance of cozy and sophisticated.
I love the way the warm colors and textures make it feel so inviting, while the clean lines and symmetry keep it from feeling too busy.
The bold choice of color for the wall is a great way to add some personality. I love a good accent wall, and this one is stunning.
The deep teal color is so rich and warm, and it makes the perfect backdrop for the art and decor.
Global-Inspired Living Room
This space is a perfect example of how you can mix and match decor styles to create a look that’s all your own.
The room features a few different global-inspired accents, like the rug and the wall art, but the overall feel of the space is very modern.
The sleek sofa and coffee table, along with the simple decor on the shelves,
create a modern vibe, but the global accents add a little extra personality to the space.
If you’re not sure how to incorporate global-inspired decor into your home, this is a great example of how to do it in a subtle way.
2. A Colorful
The first thing that really drew me to this room was the color palette. I love that it’s not overly colorful, but still has a nice variety of colors.
We have a lot of blues, some greens, a pop of orange, and a few pinks. It’s just enough to keep things interesting, but not too much to where it feels chaotic.
When I’m working with a client, I often like to pull colors from a piece of art to inspire the rest of the space.
In this room, I’m pulling the colors from the rug and using them throughout the space.
The rug is the star of the room, and the other elements are more neutral to help it stand out.
World Market-Inspired Living Room
I’m a big fan of World Market and I love the idea of using their pieces to create an eclectic, bohemian-inspired living room.
World Market is a great source for affordable rugs, wall art, and throw pillows. I started this design with the rug, which has a beautiful, bold color palette.
I used the colors in the rug to select the other pieces in this living room. I love the look of a velvet sofa and this one has a beautiful, deep blue color.
I’ve been seeing a lot of round coffee tables lately and this one is a great option if you’re looking for a budget-friendly piece.
I used a few other World Market pieces to finish off this design, like the wall art, throw pillows, and the beautiful, carved wood accent table.
3. A Cozy
When you think of a cozy living room, what comes to mind? For me, it’s a space that feels warm and inviting, with lots of soft textures and layers.
I also love a cozy space that has a bit of a vintage vibe.
This living room has all of that and more! The soft, neutral color palette feels very calming, and the plush rug and sofa are just begging you to take a seat.
The gallery wall of vintage-inspired art is a fun touch, and the cane chairs are so on-trend.
World Market-Inspired Living Room
I love the idea of creating a living room that feels like it’s been collected over time.
World Market is perfect for that because they have a ton of unique pieces that feel like they’re one-of-a-kind.
Here are a few ways to bring this look to life in your own home:
1. Start with a neutral rug and sofa. This will give you a blank canvas to work with and allow you to bring in color and pattern with your pillows and accents.
2. Mix and match your pillows. I love the look of a mix and match pillow combo. It makes the space feel more collected and less “designed.”
3. Add in some texture. A big part of making your space feel cozy is adding in texture. I love the look of a big, chunky throw blanket and a few woven baskets.
4. Finish with some greenery. No space is complete without a little greenery! World Market has some great faux options if you don’t have a green thumb.
4. A Glam
Last, but certainly not least, is this glam living room.
The red velvet sofa is the true star of the show here. I love the idea of having a colorful sofa as the focal point of the room, and this one is just stunning.
The other pieces in the room are more of a neutral color, which helps to make the sofa stand out even more.
The gold accents throughout the room really play up the glam vibe. The gold floor lamp and the gold coffee table are both stunning.
And I love how the gold accents are balanced with the earthy tones in the rug.
This is just such a beautiful space. I love how the pops of color are balanced with more neutral pieces.
World Market-Inspired Living Room
This room is a great example of how you can mix and match different styles and still have a cohesive look.
The boho-inspired rug and pillows are balanced out by the more traditional sofa and the industrial-style coffee table.
The neutral colors in the room are also balanced by the pops of color in the pillows and the rug.
If you’re not a fan of the bright colors, you could easily swap them out for more muted tones like blush and rust.
5. A Modern
I love the mix of modern and traditional in this space.
The clean lines of the sofa, coffee table, and gold floor lamp are balanced by the more traditional rug, velvet pillow, and leather armchair.
The gallery wall adds a personal touch to the space and is a great way to fill a large wall in your living room.
I also love the mix of textures in this space. You have velvet, leather, and wood, and they all work so well together.
World Market-Inspired Living Room
I’m so in love with this space! It’s so light and bright and airy. I love the mix of natural textures, the softness of the curtains, and the large area rug.
The coffee table is the perfect centerpiece to this room. It’s so unique and adds a lot of character to the room.
I love the mix of wood and metal in the table. It’s a great way to add some warmth and texture to the room!
6. A Rustic
If you love the idea of a white living room but want to add a bit of color, this design is for you.
The white walls and sofa are the perfect backdrop for a collection of colorful throw pillows.
The soft, pastel colors add a pop of color that’s not too overwhelming.
The other colors in the room are kept soft as well, with the gray rug and the wood tones in the coffee table and side table.
The modern art on the wall adds a bit of color and a fun pattern to the room.
World Market-Inspired Living Room
I think it’s safe to say that World Market is the destination for all things boho chic. This living room is the perfect example of that!
The velvet sofa, the vintage-inspired rug, the wall art, and all the little decor
pieces scattered around make this space feel like it’s straight out of a 70s design magazine.
One of my favorite things about this room is the color palette. By sticking to the same few colors, this room feels cohesive and well thought out.
The pops of green and rust are the perfect contrast to the blue sofa, and the neutral accents help to ground the space.
I also love the variety of textures in here! The velvet, the rug, the rattan, and the wood all add interest and depth to the space.
7. A Traditional
I love the way this space feels so traditional but with a modern twist.
The color scheme is classic with a mix of blues and white, but the velvet sofa and the modern art bring in a modern touch.
The rug also feels super traditional, but the pattern is so fun!
I also love the way they mixed in a few different textures in the pillows and throws on the sofa.
The velvet pillows are a nice contrast to the linen ones and the chunky cable knit throw is a great contrast to the smooth texture of the velvet.
World Market-Inspired Living Room
This living room is giving us all the cozy vibes! The key to the perfect boho-cozy space is the perfect mix of textiles and patterns.
I love how the designer of this space mixed the bold rug with the more subtle pillows and throws.
The textures of the pillows and throws are what makes this space feel so cozy.
