One of the most fun aspects of planning a bridal shower is organizing the bridal shower decorations.
There are so many different ways to decorate for a bridal shower and so many types of decorations that you can use.
You can also use the bridal shower decorations to set the mood for the party and to reflect the personality of the bride.
The following are a few ideas for bridal shower decorations.
1. Make a DIY Balloon Garland

Balloon garlands are still a big trend in the party world.
And they are so much easier to make than you think! I have a full tutorial on how to make a balloon garland without helium, but in short, all you need to make a balloon garland is a long piece of twine or string, mini balloons, and a balloon decorating strip.
For this bridal shower, I used a variety of white and gold balloons in different sizes and shapes.
I also added in some mini pearl balloons in white and gold to fill in the gaps.
I love the addition of the mini balloons as it adds a little bit of texture to the garland.
And I love the combination of the white and gold for a bridal shower.
2. Hang Tassel Garlands

Tassel garlands are another easy way to add some color to your bridal shower decor! You can hang them across your dessert table, in front of a tablecloth or even on the wall behind the bride’s chair.
You can also get tassel garland kits that come with everything you need to make your own tassel garlands to hang around the party space.
3. Add a Touch of Whimsy with Paper Pinwheels

The classic paper pinwheel is a whimsical decoration that can be used in a variety of ways.
Hang them from the ceiling, use them to create a unique backdrop for a dessert table, or add them to a balloon garland.
You can even use them as a creative way to display photos of the bride-to-be.
Choose pinwheels in the bride’s favorite colors or go with a mix of pastels for a soft and romantic look.
You can even find pinwheels with fun patterns like polka dots or stripes to complement your other decorations.
4. Create a Photo Backdrop

Photobooths are an easy way to add fun to a party and a great way to create photo memories for the bride.
You can make a DIY photobooth like we did here, or just create a simple backdrop like this one with a few balloons and paper fans.
If you want to make a more elaborate backdrop, you can use a pegboard like we did here to create a balloon wall or a simple white sheet to create a flower wall.
I’ve also created backdrops with a PVC pipe stand and then attached a colorful tablecloth to it.
You could also use a large frame and attach flowers or greenery to it.
5. Fill the Space with Flowers

If you’re hosting the bridal shower in your home or in a rented space, consider adding some extra decor to make the space feel more special.
A great way to do this is to add flowers to the space.
You can put flowers in vases on tables or in the entryway, or you could even make a flower wall or garland to add a pop of color to the space.
If you don’t want to spend money on a lot of flowers, you could make a few flower arrangements and then fill in the rest of the space with faux flowers.
6. Incorporate Her Wedding Colors

If the bride already has her wedding colors picked out, use those as the basis for your decorations.
You can keep it simple and use a white and gold color palette or bring in a few of her wedding colors and use them throughout the space.
We love the idea of using a balloon garland to bring in the wedding colors.
7. Make the Bride Feel Special with a Chair Sign

The bride-to-be is the guest of honor at the bridal shower, so make sure she knows it! You can easily make a sign for the back of her chair that says “Bride” on it.
We love how this one is made with a simple wooden cutout and a pretty floral garland.
If you’re feeling extra crafty, you can even make a sign for the chair that says “Mrs.” to remind her of the fun that’s to come!
8. Use Centerpieces to Add a Pop of Color

Centerpieces are a great way to add color to your bridal shower decorations.
The shades of pink and blue in these centerpieces coordinate with the other decorations in the party.
You can also use centerpieces to add a pop of color to your tables and keep the rest of the decorations more neutral.
9. Add a Little Sparkle with Metallic Accents

I love adding a little sparkle to any party and this one is no exception.
The metallic accents in this bridal shower are absolutely stunning and add so much to the overall look.
I especially love the gold accents in the decor and how the gold is also brought out in the table settings.
Conclusion
There are so many different ways to decorate for a bridal shower. You can go with a traditional theme or choose something more unique like a boho bridal shower. No matter what you choose, there are so many ways to make the event special for the bride.
