45 Christmas Bedroom Decor Ideas

Christmas Bedroom Decor Ideas. Is your bedroom ready for the holidays? With Christmas just around the corner,

I’ve been getting into the holiday spirit by decorating the house.

I’ve shared my Christmas living room and my Christmas dining room, but today I’m going to show you my Christmas bedroom decor.

When I decorate for Christmas, I like to keep my bedroom decor relatively simple.

I don’t like to use a lot of bright, vibrant colors in my bedroom, as I find it too stimulating.

So I like to keep my Christmas bedroom decor relatively neutral, by using lots of white, silver and gold.

1. Add a Christmas Tree to Your Bedroom

If you have the space, adding a small Christmas tree to your bedroom is a great way to bring the holiday vibes into the room.

You can go with a traditional green tree, or a flocked tree for a cozier look.

You can also get creative with the tree topper and the theme of the ornaments.

If you have a more neutral bedroom, consider adding a pop of color with bright ornaments.

If you have a more colorful room, try adding ribbon, picks and flowers to your tree that coordinate with your room.

2. Hang Wreaths on the Wall

If you’re looking for a simple way to add a festive touch to your bedroom, consider hanging a Christmas wreath on the wall.

This is a great way to add some color and texture to your space without overwhelming it with decor.

You can also use a wreath as a focal point above your bed, like we did here.

We hung this faux eucalyptus wreath and added a simple red bow for a pop of color.

3. Add a Garland to Your Headboard

If you have a headboard on your bed, consider draping a Christmas garland along the top.

This is a super simple way to add a festive touch to your bed and it’s so easy to do.

You can use a real or faux garland and then add in some string lights, ornaments, or ribbon to dress it up.

Don’t have a headboard? You can also attach a garland to the wall behind your bed!

4. Hang Stockings on Your Bed Frame

If you don’t have a mantel in your bedroom, you can still hang stockings on your bed frame.

This is a great option if you have a footboard on your bed, and it’s a simple way to add a little holiday cheer to your space.

I hung these knit stockings on our bed frame and added some faux greenery to the top to give a little extra touch.

You can also use command hooks to hang stockings on the wall or even on the back of your bedroom door.

5. Add Christmas Pillows to Your Bed

One of the easiest ways to add some Christmas charm to your bed is with a few Christmas throw pillows.

You can add them to your regular pillows or just use them on their own.

I love the different textures and patterns on these pillows and how they all coordinate so well together.

6. Add a Christmas Quilt or Duvet to Your Bed

One of the easiest ways to add a touch of Christmas to your bedroom is to switch out your bedding with a Christmas quilt or duvet.

I found this beautiful red and white Christmas quilt at Target. I love the classic red and white colors and the pretty pattern.

I paired the quilt with a pair of red and white plaid shams and a white ruffled pillow.

I love to add a variety of textures to my bedding. It adds so much interest and coziness.

7. Add a Few Christmas Decorations to Your Nightstand

You don’t have to go overboard with your Christmas bedroom decorations to make a big impact.

This cozy Christmas bedroom decor features a few simple touches that are perfect for the minimalist.

I love how they added a small Christmas tree to the top of the nightstand.

This adds height and draws your eye up, which can make a small space feel larger.

You can use a small faux tree or even a vase of Christmas tree clippings if you don’t have room for a full tree.

Then they added a small sign, a few bottle brush trees, and some twinkle lights to finish off the look. This is such a simple look, but it’s so warm and inviting!
