15 Princess Bedroom Ideas

My daughter has been begging for a princess bedroom for the last 3 years.

I have been holding off because I really didn’t want to spend the money on a Disney princess bed, but I finally caved.

I spent months looking for the perfect bed and I finally found it!

I wanted something that she could grow with and I didn’t want to spend a fortune.

I found this adorable bed on Amazon and I was able to buy the bed and the mattress for under $300.

I ended up buying the canopy separately, but it was only $15. I was able to get everything I needed for her room for under $500.

1. The bed should be the focal point of the room

Since the bed is the main piece of furniture in a bedroom, it should be the focal point.

A canopy bed can work well in a princess-themed bedroom, but it isn’t necessary.

You can use a regular bed and create a canopy effect with the curtains.

In this room, the curtains are attached to the ceiling with a curtain rod, and they drape over the bed. You can also use a bed crown to create a similar effect.

If you want to create a canopy bed without the curtains, you can use a bed crown to hang a canopy from.

This will give the bed a more regal look and make it the focal point of the room.

2. A princess bedroom needs a touch of pink

We think that the key to a good princess bedroom is a touch of pink.

You don’t have to go all out and paint the walls candy floss, but a few pink accessories and some soft lighting will create that lovely,

warm glow you associate with a princess’ quarters.

In this princess bedroom, the pink is added through the cushions and the wall light. The rest of the room is very neutral and the pink just adds a lovely softness.

3. Add some princess bedroom accessories

A princess bedroom isn’t complete without a few accessories.

A sparkly chandelier is a must, but you can also add a canopy to the bed, a princess-themed area rug, and some fluffy pillows and throws.

You can also add some princess-themed wall decor, such as a crown or a castle, and some princess-themed bedding.

Don’t forget to add some fairy lights and some scented candles to create a magical atmosphere.

4. A princess bedroom needs a princess castle

Every princess needs a castle, and this bedroom has it. The bed is the focal point of the room and is a custom-designed castle bed that is truly fit for a princess.

The bed is a beautiful white with gold accents and has a slide coming down from the top of the tower.

The bed is complete with a canopy and is surrounded by a built-in bookshelf.

The bookshelf is a great place to store all of the princess’s favorite bedtime stories.

5. A princess bedroom needs a princess throne

Every princess needs a throne, and this one is perfect. It’s the right size for a bedroom, and it’s right next to the bed.

The color is perfect for this room, and the tufted seat makes it even more elegant.

Conclusion

This room is so much fun and I can’t wait to see how our daughter loves it! I think the bunk bed is a great solution for a smaller room and it’s so fun for her to have a little reading nook upstairs. We still have to set up the changing table and pack and play, but it’s coming together!
